Irvington Neighborhood Home Tour in May!

Special Agent Jennifer Marsh (played by Diane Lane) fought the bad guys from this house in the 2008 movie Untraceable. See it close up on the Tour this year!

The 2012 Irvington Home Tour on May 20 will feature a tour of seven houses in this historic Northeast Portland neighborhood. Few city neighborhoods in the West have the variety and quality of early 20th Century residential architecture to equal Portland’s historic Irvington Neighborhood. Irvington has been designated a National Register listed Historic District. The largest Historic District in Oregon, Irvington comprises over 2800 properties, of which 85% are considered “contributing” and retain their original appearance. Strolling Irvington’s leafy streets is like walking through a time warp into the first years of the 20th Century.

Tickets are $20 and proceeds go to fund charitable giving programs and projects in the area. The tour is May 20, 2012 and tickets go onsale online at the end of March. For more information go here.
